About AFP-IN

The Association for Financial Professionals of Indiana (AFP-IN) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing the treasury profession. AFP-IN is a regional affiliate of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), a national association with similar aims and objectives. Our membership consists of both treasury practitioners and service providers, representing a broad cross-section of corporate, government, not-for-profit and service enterprises. Our members represent diverse industries: manufacturing, service, retail, public utilities, insurance, not-for-profit, real estate, financial services, wholesale distribution, government and higher education. Through its presence in Indianapolis, AFP-IN seeks to provide members with opportunities to remain current regarding treasury topics and issues, learn new skills, and network with other treasury and financial professionals. Speaker: PHoward Gross & Erica Gowan from BGBC Partners, LLC

Howard Gross is a founding Partner of BGBC Partners. Howard serves as partner in charge of the firm’s Litigation, Valuation and Bankruptcy Services practice. In addition to his CPA certification, he is accredited in performing business valuations, certified in financial forensics, and is a Certified Financial

Planner®. Erika Gowan serves as a Senior Manager in the firm’s Litigation, Valuation and Bankruptcy Services practice as well as in the Audit and Accounting Department. Erika has extensive experience in forensic accounting, financial analysis, and project management, as well as in leading assurance, litigation consulting and business advisory engagements for clients in various industries.

Both speakers have worked on many local and national high profile fraud cases. They both bring many years’ experience in forensic accounting and will lead a discussion on corporate fraud.
